I was sitting on the bus (I seem to spend a good deal of time on buses lately) and the girl next to me got out a piece of gum and put it into her mouth, which prompted me to immediately wonder if I had bad breath.
And then I sat back, thought about it, and realized this wasn't a very logical conclusion....or was it?
Now she would use a piece of gum only if something had originally made her think of eating the gum. And it could easily have been my bad breath which put that thought into her mind. Or it could have simply been her desire to chew on the gum for the taste. But with growing conviction I concluded it must have been the first option.
This made me self conscious the rest of the day.
A word of advice would be, don't let the little silly things in life ruin your day!
